Community Involvement

The Gove Group is actively involved in the communities it serves because we believe the best neighborhoods are more than locations — they're living, dynamic environments that only thrive when people take the time to make a difference.

Everyone at The Gove Group — our support staff, our agents, our managers, our owners — all give back to the community in some form or another. We're extremely proud of the enthusiasm with which our team shares its time, knowledge, and resources.

St. Thomas Aquinas High School and the Gove Group Scholarship -A Philanthropic Profile

Founded in 1960, St. Thomas Aquinas High School provides an intensive college preparatory education. Operating under the auspices of the Diocese of Manchester, St. Thomas is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges and the State of New Hampshire. Entrance is based on demonstration of solid academic performance, entrance exam results, and positive school citizenship.

Located in Dover, New Hampshire, and with an enrollment of approximately 700 students, St. Thomas Aquinas High School is committed to making superior education accessible to deserving students. Because the Gove Group shares that vision, we’re proud to support the school in its mission to provide an intensive college preparatory education. Through generous donations, we've helped the school launch a corporate scholarship program as well as provide funding for classroom upgrades.

The annual Gove Group Scholarship awards $2500 to a St. Thomas student to help defray the cost of their tuition payments. In early spring, the St. Thomas scholarship committee reviews incoming freshman student applicants who meet certain academic, extracurricular, and financial requirements. The recipient is awarded the scholarship which will follow him or her throughout the fours years of schooling for a total of $10,000 in tuition assistance.

In addition to establishing the scholarship program, the Gove Group has allocated $11,000 to fund classroom technology upgrades to aid teachers in delivering a more comprehensive, interactive educational experience. With the Gove Group’s financial assistance, St Thomas will be installing SMART Boards in all of its classrooms. SMART Boards replace traditional chalkboards and whiteboards by transforming classrooms into interactive learning environments. With the combined power of a projector, computer, and whiteboard, SMART Boards offer teachers and students a state-of-the-art educational tool and a quality learning atmosphere.

The Gove Group admires the excellent educational environment created by St. Thomas' educators, administration, and student body. We look forward to continuing our commitment to the school for years to come.
