Kennebunk’s “first proper bakery”, Boulangerie is “a place where bread is mixed and proofed for hours, and baked in the dark of morning, sending warm yeasty aromas wafting down the street.” If that isn’t enough of a draw for you, their menu filled with sweet treats and flakey croissants is sure to turn this bakery into a favorite. We bet you thought you’d never find home cooked Texas right here in Southern Maine. According to their website, this BBQ joint’s mission is “to spread the gospel of flavor to Maine” and we couldn’t be more hungry! The Kennebunk Farmers Market 

Fresh veggies and homemade bread abound in Kennebunk’s weekly farmers market which runs every Saturday from May to November. Support local farms and small businesses as you stock up on your weekly groceries.   

 

Maine Art Hill
