Kingston was the fifth town to be established in New Hampshire. It was originally part of Hampton, NH until 1694, when the town was granted a royal charter and was established with the name "Kingston" in honor of King William III.
Kingston is a community of approximately 6,025 people and encompasses nearly 21 square miles. It's a great area for outdoor recreational activities. Powwow Pond and Great Pond are both located in Kingston, and Country Pond borders the town. It is also home to Kingston State Park and Rock Rimmon State Forest, perfect for swimming, boat rentals, hiking and more.
